serious issue. “Use of E-cigarettes” E-cigarettes are becoming a popular tobacco product among
teenagers, and use among teens is rising. I am not against the use of E-cigarettes, as it is a replacement
for tobacco products. I am of the view that E-cigarettes should be prohibited in teenagers and there
should be regulations for the use of E-cigarettes and safety requirements for the packaging of nicotine
liquid containers.

Competitive marketing campaigns are increasing the use of e-cigarettes. There are no government
regulations for the making and use of e-cigarettes. There are also no safety measures for how to package
the nicotine liquid in refill containers of the e-cigarettes because of that nicotine poisoning is rising. In
December 2014, a one-year-old, boy was a first child to die for liquid nicotine poisoning. The
government should take actions to prohibit the use of e-cigarettes by imposing laws and restrict the
purchase to the age of 21 years. The companies making e-cigarettes should be asked to take measures to
improve the packaging of the liquid nicotine in the refill containers. In addition to this, people should be
advised to keep away from kids, the products that are harmful to the children.
