The approach should address the logical issue posedby the problem discussed already in 1.(i.e. if you choose the Problem of Love, you could discusshow Nietzsche might propose a solution to it based on yourreading of The Gay Science, but you could not discuss howAristotle would do so based on your reading of De Anima.)3. “Criticism” –Interpret a possible criticism of this contemporarythinker’s solution to the problem from the perspective of thephilosopher in whose text the problem emerged.(i.e. if you chose Plato’s Problem of Love for 1., you shouldinterpret a criticism that Plato would give to the interpretedsolution proposed in 2, e.g. this could be Plato’s criticism ofNietzsche’s approach to the Problem of Love.)4. “Response” – Assess how the contemporath thinker whosesolution you interpret in 2 would respond to the criticism in 3.(i.e. if you chose to write on Nietzsche’s solution to the Problemof Love in 2., then consider in this final section howNietzsche would respond to Plato’s criticism in 3.)5. Assessment – Assess whether the contemporary thinker’sresponse (4) adequately addresses the criticism (3).
