Black Diamond Sports is an American based company which has specialized in sports
equipment. The company has been in the business since 1997. Black Diamond Sports takes pride
in the staff and excellent customer service. Their dedication to providing the best in the in all
categories involving sports has earned them the best customer involvement. The company also a
good network of customers and service providers as they have websites where customers can
inquire, comment or raise concerns about products they are seeking. The work below is set to
discuss a mobile application that can benefit Black Diamond Sports in achieving a significant
and more interactive customer experience.
Several stakeholders will take part in the implementation of the mobile application in
Black Diamond sports such as Microsoft that which will provide the software those customers
can access (Wang, 2014). PayPal is also part of the team that will implement the software by
proving a payment option where athletes willing to purchase goods online can do their payments
(Wang, 2014). FedEx courier will also contribute in making deliveries of products purchased
whether via online websites or on cash payment (Wang, 2014). The three companies are aimed
to bring efficiency in the performance of Black Diamond Sports (Ile & Lazea, 2013).
The software provided by the Microsoft Company is meant to have demonstrations of
each sports item where the clients can see how to use and also precautions and maintenance of
the product. These include video description as each piece is in use, precautions to consider
while using it and the best methods of preservation for durability. PayPal will focus on the
payment procedures for customer purchasing online and those using visa cards. Such payment
methods will reduce the hustle of customer walking into the shop to buy and pay. Items bought
online will be delivered by the FedEx Company to the clients. The three companies will sign a
contract to do business with Black Diamond Sports for three years.

Black Diamond takes pride in owning a large organization where they can accommodate
new departments. Space is expected to host Microsoft, PayPal, and FedEx so also strategize their
roles as stipulated in the contracts. There are several desktops and other electronics that were
included in the budget to implement the project in Black Diamond sports. The organization also
recruited IT specialist to install software and a system for use during the project. Black Diamond
Sports reaps a higher profit due to continuous progress in the business. The increases returns are
budgeted to facilitate the project as the stipulation show the returns will triple.
In summary, Black Diamond Sports has a lot to gain considering the partnership with
Microsoft, PayPal, and FedEx companies. The application that Microsoft is expected to install on
the customer’s phone will create a broad market range that will consequently increase sales.
PayPal will facilitate all payment via visa cards for customers who are far from the physical
location of the Black Diamond Sports shops. Efficient payment methods assure customers of
quality service. FedEx Company will cover all the delivery that Black Diamond Customers have
ordered. Quality customer service will contribute to increase in sales and also attract more
customers to the company. With the accumulated profit over the years in business, Black
Diamond has the financial capabilities to fund the project. The company also has vast business
halls that will accommodate the partnering organizations in the project.
