Exercise 3­C: Your Personal Mission Statement
Journal entry: write your personal mission statement. Your mission statement reflects your personal
constitution, set of beliefs, and value system. Your mission statement should address questions a­f listed in
the exercise. Clarifying your mission statement is an ongoing process, so if you’ve previously written a
personal mission statement, then that will be a great starting point for addressing questions a­f.
Exercise 3­D: Personal Goal Setting
Journal entry that details your experience with this exercise. Brainstorm your goals in at least five categories:
Academic/Intellectual, Health/Fitness, Social, Career/Job, and Financial. Prioritize goals by selecting those
most important in short term and long term. Write goals using the goal statement guidelines provided. Lastly
share an action plan for at least two select goals.
Your assignment is due by 11:59 pm on Sunday.
