The review of the literature will include at least five sources related to
the project

comparison, contrast, and discussion of the sources. The literature
review should help demonstrate why you are using this intervention or
doing the project you are doing and what previous research has shown
about the efficacy and effectiveness of the intervention. The literature
review should explain the previous research on the topic and how your
project will contribute to understanding an issue.

The literature review must cover at least one “promising practice”.
Promising Practices are interventions at the micro, mezzo, or macro level
aimed at improving community health. In the literature review, find at
least one peer-reviewed or authoritative source besides the HPN website
that discusses the promising practice. Describe what that source says. You
might cover why the practice is effective, how it has been evaluated in the
past, or which samples of people have been evaluated. Overall, your goal
is to better describe the promising practice and tell us what evidence
supports its use. Your discussion of the other sources should be
constructively critical. Tell what they did well, but also mention any
problems or research errors.
Summarize the key points of the research as it relates to your project. The goal of the
literature review section is to answer these questions:
