Introduction
Because of the global warming, the sea level was increased, the world had drowned. The place of
residents were reduced, so people have to move to undersea. The living environments and the
equipments had changed a lot. My currency design is based on this new environment in 2146 for the
oceanic nations. My nation religion is the area surrounding the River Thames. Fourteen million
people live in this area and half of them which live in London. So I added many elements about
London in my design.
Logos
The new currency called “Cred”, it is like dollars in theUS and pounds in the UK. The Cred symbol
is combined with letter D and a short line cut through the middle of the left D. The symbol is
rememberable, and easy to write for people.
The bank logo is made up with eight stars, and arranged by circle. The circle is the symbol of unity.
In the ocean, it was hard for people to see the stars as before, the stars’ elements is for reminding
people to protect the new living areas. People got serious hurt from the destroy of environments, so
environment friendly opinions appears in every social government organizations.
Coins
The coins are made of recyclable plastic. The diameter of the coin is thirty mill-meters, and the
weight is 4.0 grams. It is convenient for people to carry in the walls or pocket. Shells is the basic
elements in my coins’ design. Shells were the original currency in human history, people used
shells to exchange products. Water jelly and starfish are in the bottom of the ocean animals’ food
chain, so I drew them with numbers in the other side of the coins.
Notes
The dimension of the notes is 130*60mm, and made up with recyclable paper. My notes’ currency
designs are made up with ocean creatures and famous landmarks in London. You could see the
Shard and the London Eye through the white part under the light, it could help people to distinguish
the real of the notes. I also add textures in the front side of the notes, they look like fishes’ scales. I
drew the octopus hold the building “the shard” in one hundred reds note. The shard is the highest
architecture in England(Rachel Homer，October 2017), it may not exist until 2146. However, I
want people to remember this beautiful and tallest building in London. In 1000 crews note, I draw
two whales swim across the London Eye. I believe the London Eye is a memorable landmarks, it is
a funny place for families, friends, partners. I hope it could work until 2146, people might see big
whale and little whale in the London Eye.
Cards
The size of the card is 85.60*53.98mm, and made up with recyclable plastic. I drew a Meyerasaurus
and British museum in the card. Meyerasaurus is a kind of marine reptile, it was survived about 183
to 180 million years ago(Adam S. Smith and Peggy Vincent, 2010). I drew it on five thousands reds
card because it is an old and huge ocean creatures. And the British museum is one of the largest
museum, and it has comprehensive collections from all over the world. I believe Meyerasaurus has
some relate with museum, so I drew the Meyerasaurus “flies” over the British museum. In the left
of the five thousands card, there is a security chip, and in the right corner, I designed a fingerprint
lock security system for the card holder.
I drew a whale shark in the C-Mist card. Whale shark is a really huge ocean animal, it had a length
of 41.5 feet and weight about twenty tons. It is one the biggest creatures in animal
kingdom(Wood,Gerald L.). I think it just like the public transit, it is big and it could contains many
people (fishes). In the other side of the C-Mist card, I drew an abstract train, it is a obviously
symbol for the C-Mist card. People see it and understand what does it use for.
