Introduction
Internet systems development is an area where web developers are able to streamline Web coding
and promote website security. Internet systems development is also referred to as Web
development and involves the creation, planning, maintenance and modeling of Internet-based
computer systems. Internet system development technologies are critical in developing efficient
systems as well as in creating and implement easy-to-use Web content, construct database
infrastructures and increase system security. In addition, internet system development technologies
are helpful in developing a good graphical user interface.
Comparison and contraction of Internet systems development software technologies
There are different types of internet system development technologies all which offer a guide to
some of the main web technologies we use to develop accessibly. For example, Client-Side
Technologies, Server-Side Technologies and Multimedia are some of the commonly used internet
system development technologies (Gutierrez, 2014).
Client-side technologies include HTML and Cascading Style Sheets which are codes that run
within a web browser. This means that the web browser temporarily downloads all the files from
a web server and, in turn, displays a static web page which one would be able to view these files
even if one lost his or her internet connection as long as one left his or her web browser open.
JavaScript and ActionScript are the two most commonly used client-side scripts.
HTML is a markup technology that is designed to structure information for presentation as web
pages. In addition, instead of relying on WYSIWYG programs, web developers write all their
HTML by hand, ensuring that it is clean, valid and of the highest standard. This implies that pages

On the other hand, Cascading Style Sheets control how web pages are displayed in the browser,
and usually allows the separation of presentation from structure and content. Cascading Style
Sheets help ensure that web pages are presented in an accessible way to all visitors, over a wide
range of media. Furthermore, under Client Side technologies JavaScript is a lightweight
technology which is used alongside HTML documents to make websites more interactive.
Server-Side Technologies
Server-side technologies simply refer to any code that facilitates the transfer of data from a web
server to a browser. Usually, websites need to be stored in a database on a web server. Server-side
technologies are run on the web server, that has the power and resources to run programs which
are too resource intensive to be run by a web browser thus are more expensive than Client side
technologies. Server-side technologies are also more secure than client side technologies because
the source code remains on the web server rather than being temporarily stored on an individual’s
computer.
Examples of server-side technologies are PHP which is a fast, server-side technologies that are
used to create interactive, dynamic websites. This technology is mainly well-suited to integrating
with a range of databases. Another example is XML which is a software and hardware independent
markup language that is designed for describing and transmitting information. It is set to become
the most common tool for all data manipulation and data transmission. It is usually a language for
defining, transforming and formatting XML documents.
Multimedia technologies

This is the third type of internet system development technology. It includes Macromedia Flash as
one of its examples. Flash is a product developed to offer websites with animation, sound,
interactivity and database integration. There is a free plugin, that also ships with the major web
browsers, is needed to see the Flash parts of a site. Flash can develop a fully multimedia website,
but it’s not frequently used due to is drawbacks

In my opinion, PHP from server side technologies is one of the best internet system development
technologies as compared to others. This is because it is easy to learn and has a lot of open-sources.
It works, it’s simple, and supports many different operating systems. For internet system
development technology there are a couple of useful functions in the field of development with
greater ease and safety of functional systems is developed by PHP server applications.
In addition, when it comes to choosing the best web development language for a website, it’s
worthy to note that there is no single best language. A web developer may prefer one technology
over another technology because he or she is only expected to choose the option that best suits his
or her project, based on the specific functionality or features that he wants (Kucheriavy, 2015).

web developers. For example, it is the aim of a web developer to writes a code which is easily
