Cook, the company’s mission is to provide high-quality products to the clients, and maintain its

Apple is well aligned, and streamlined, where all duties are efficiently assigned to the specific

Despite the well-organized institution, the firm has been linked with unethical business practices
which this paper seeks to address.
Unethical Behavior in Apple Inc.
Various nations across the world have set rules, and regulations which stand to protect
the rights, and welfare of the labor forces. Collins asserts that firms should always stand to
safeguard the welfare of their staff because they act as one of the vital elements facilitating the
production process (Collins 74). Over the years, Apple Inc. has been linked to the violation of
the employee’s rights, and the labor laws in different countries around the world. Audits carried

out in the firm showcase that the workers are subjected to long working hours, and some of the
employees worked for more than six days in a week. Additionally, the audit shows that the
institution has been linked with the employment of children which is against the labor laws of
almost all countries across the world. Moreover, despite the long working hours, the employees
are subjected to lower wages against the workload they perform, and this is an unethical practice
adopted by the company. Most of these cases were reported in Chinese companies, and the issues
were brought about as a result of the pain, and suffering the individuals undergo in the company
(Walker 115). Therefore, this proves that the firm was involved in unethical activities which can
undermine their long-term success objective.

they will have precise knowledge of the changes which have happened as they are aware of the
culture, and tradition of the corporation. On the other hand, I will consider the management of
the institution as they are responsible for the welfare of the employee, and the changes around
the workplace (Cole 90). The management, as a stakeholder, is also aware of the basic labor
laws, and the requirements of the global market. Therefore, they will act as good respondents for
the interview.
