You have been there for 8 months and therefore you are near the end. You were planning to really impress them so that they might offer you a graduate job. In the beginning, you felt that the placement was going welland that you impressed the company. You rarely made any mistakes or errors and completed all of your work on time. You always got into the office at 8.30 and always stayed at the end of the day to finish work and attend the meeting. You tried your hardest to appear enthusiastic and dedicated. At your 3-month review, the company commented on how keen and conscientious you were. In addition, the team that you work in is very nice and you feel that you have been welcomed into the team.In addition to your placement, you also work part-time in a shop to earn some money to pay your fees. The job is very important to you because without it you would struggle financially. You usually work 12 hours a week, mainly at weekends. Initially therefore your job in the shop didn’t affect your placement. However, 3 months ago the manager of the shop became ill and is unable to work. You have therefore been asked to work additional shifts. Sometimes you are asked to work in the evenings until 10 pm and all weekends. You find that working in the evenings after you have come home from placement very tiring but unfortunately they don’t have anyone else who is able to work the evening shift.
