I felt at best if she be placed on bedrest, and treated with heparin. This was subsequently carried out during the next 10 days. Since that time, and following us with accumbent she has been monitored weekly, with prothrombin time and has been seen in the office. The plan would be to keep her on anticoagulants for 2 -3 months and then gradually taper off. Thank you once again for asking me to share in the care of this pleasant lady.
