The negative impacts of air pollution on health are widely known and range from heart disease, stroke, and even cancer to higher chances of respiratory infections and asthma flare-ups. Everything that is going on in the world is creating an unsafe planet for any living creature. Georiga’s environmental challenges are vehicular emissions and deforestation. Atlanta currently ranks 2nd in vehicular pollution according to the Georgia Department of Natural Resources. This is due to overpopulation. As Georgia’s population grows natural swamp land and forests are being destroyed to make way for more homes. With more emission pollution and deforestation the state’s natural reducer of the greenhouse effect. With homes also being built on filled-in swamp lands there poses a potential threat of sinkholes.Overall as a planet, I believe we are facing the same challenges as Georgia, the greenhouse effect.
