for 3 days.

Product Owner Role
For user Story 1: Stephanie Brubaker was the product owner
For user Story 2: Chaitanya Mulakala was the product owner
For user Story 3: Anand was the product owner
For user Story 4: Harish Lanka was the product owner
Estimation process
As we are of four people in the team, we have discussed about who should sign up on
planningpoker.com. So Stephanie Brubaker has joined in the planningpoker.com, and afterward
she embedded the four user stories into the task board. Subsequent to joining, Steph posted the
website link on discussion board as the greater part of the colleagues could open up the
cpalnningpoker.com and we ensure that all the individuals were online for beginning the poker
exercise. Later we started the poker exercise by estimating each story and then the results were
posted on thread for discussions. Before starting the discussion for each user story we assigned a
product owner and team members. So each product owner of a user story asks the reason to the
team members for their estimations. In this poker exercise we have performed two rounds in order
to have the same estimations.
Poker Estimation Results:
Round 1
story 1: Steph & Chaithanya – 1/2
Anand- 1
Harish -3
Story 2: Steph & Harish -2
Chaithanya – 3
Anand – 1
Story 3: Steph & Harish- 8
Anand & Chaithanya- 5
Story 4: Steph, Harish, Anand -20
Chaithanya -40
Round 2
Story 1 – All the team members estimated as 1/2
Story 2 – All the team members estimated as 1
Story 3 – All the team members estimated as 5
Story 4 – All the team members estimated as 20
For the second round we all had the same scores that is why we didn’t have to play round 3.
Major Challenges while performing the poker exercise
Some of the challenges we encountered, where finding a time when everyone could play the
poker game. The planningpoker.com site itself, I think it is poorly put together since everyone
must be logged in at the same time in order to play and the leader is the only one who can
move from one story to the next.
Assumptions for each user story
Basically, I thought the assumptions of each team member would be different but after looking at
the estimates of others, I see that some of assumptions were matching with few of my team
members. As it is a group exercise, the assumptions of each individual would be different
Reaching agreement on the final sizing of each work effort
After finishing the estimation process, we just pasted the poker exercise results on the group
discussion thread. And then the product owner started asking the reasons for the estimates so we
started sharing our ideas and opinions in order to support our estimates. But finally, all of my team
members were agreeing with each other and performed round two for better results. For the second
round we all had the same scores that is why we didn’t have to play round 3. In this way have
