3D Printing in Future’s Online Shopping
Introduction
I agree with the statement that 3D printing is able to improve online shopping in the
future by making it more convenient, more personalized, and making it global. Based to its
significant advantages, online buyers will make use of it. But what is 3D printing? How will it
improve online buyers’ in the future?
3D printing is a process of making three dimensional solid objects from a digital life.3D
has recently been known across the world. As 3D printing comes to get known, the benefits of it
become obviously. More and more online sellers have already noticed that 3D printing is able to
make a huge improvement in online shopping (Lipson, Hod; Kurman, Melba, 2013). In order to
prepare for the incoming “3D shopping” future, online buyers should also learn more about 3D
printing. Thus, I agree with the statement that 3D printing will improve online buyers’ lives in
the future. There are various ways through which the 3D will improve online buyers’ in the
future. The ways are as discussed:
A.3D printing will improve online shopping in the future by making it more
convenient.

The future of 3D printing will eliminate the retail experiences. As there is an increase of 3D
printers, the cost of 3D printers has led to the widespread adoption among the medical,
aerospace, jewelry and apparel industries.3D makes it easier in creation of solid, three
dimensional objects from digital model through the addition of successive layers of material in
different shapes. Due to their significant percentage increase, they have created a large growth in
their use for manufacturing in many fields. For instance, 3D printers have improved in such a
way that they can be used in rapid and inexpensive manufacturing of finished products
(windowstalk.org, 2015).
Various companies have taken a crucial step to use 3D printing services to consumers and
industries. Through the use of the 3D printing services, consumers are now able to customize
their liking and order the resulting unique product. The future of 3D printing will enhance the
use of low cost materials and deliver a small selection of unique and highly desirable items. Thus
I see that the 3D printing services will transform future experiences of retail.
a. Delivery
As the 3D printing comes into online buyers’ lives, there will be no need to wait for the
shipments. 3D printer can print out their goods in few hours. This is because it is fast and
effective to use. Also, there will be no wastage of time because 3D printers use less hours to
provide a quality service.3D printers will improve online buyers lives dramatically as there is no
need to pay more due to its cost that meets customer’s needs.
3D printing will make the flow of products in the market easily. Particularly, when the
flow of the goods is higher, the sellers of the products will be able to make more profits. In most

of the cases, 3D printing reduces the cost of products. Thus, the sellers of the products will be
able to make much profit with a low capital which they use during the production of their
products. If the sell of their products is higher, the sellers will be able to invest more capital thus
increasing their opportunity to expand their businesses (windowstalk.org, 2015).
b. No “out of stock”
When 3D printing comes into online buyers’ lives, the word “out of stock” will become
history. Most of the online buyers will be able to book their products on time making the
products to flow in and out continuously. Due to the fact that the online buyers are not wasting a
lot of time moving from one place to another in search of the products they need, it will be so
easy for the products to be sold online. For instance, most of the online buyers have been able to
have home desktops which they can use to buy their products online. Also, most of the
companies across the U.S are making effort in developing affordable 3D printers for home desk
top use. This has been basically driven by hobby enthusiasts. On the other handsome other
companies have adjacent future whereby they will be able to integrate custom manufacturing
processes into their offerings and allow their customers in customizing the end products in their
own homes. Primarily, this action will dramatically help in reducing costs, and the waste of time.
The adoption of 3D printing service will give the companies an ability to better align the
brand promise with the customer experience. It is well known that product development and
retail are two different businesses. Doing both of them results to a lot of work. However, 3D
printing creates an incredible advantage over its rivals. This is because 3D is faster and using it
will reduce the cost and also enhance an effective time for the company which makes the
companies to utilize it. Through the creation of their own products and by controlling the whole

supply chain, companies will be able to reduce costs significantly while the consumers get high
quality, custom-made products at a fraction of the price.

The other way 3D printing will improve online shopping in the future is through making
it more personalized (Lambat, 2015). In most of the cases, buyers will contact their shopping of
their products individually. They will be able to identify which products fit them. The more the
buyers are able to shop the products, the more the 3D printer will be able to produce quality
products for them. This will be a major benefit to them as they will be able to receive quality
services. The final result is that the buyers will be able to create a full trust with the companies
they make deals with which will make the company to grow in the future.
a. Fitness
For instance, online buyers will no longer be annoyed by picking a wrong size of their
goods, as 3D printer will print out the fittest goods for them. Hence, 3D has significantly created
a positive trust to the online buyers, which has made them to be able to buy products which
meets their basic needs (17-22).
b. Personality
Whenever an online buyer needs something special, he or she will be able to add their
own ideas on their goods. This will make it possible for the 3D printer to make everything they
had bought only for themselves. In most of the cases, it is very important to note that customers

future (Tarig Bouazzati. 2015). This is because of the online buyers will be using 3D printer as
their way to shop because of its outstanding advantages. For example, 3D printers save time for
the buyers. Particularly, 3D printing services uses little time in processing your services. This
increases the chances of serving more than one online buyers in a more crucial way. Also, 3D
printers are not that costly. Because of the fact the 3D printers are continuing to emerge in every
corner of the globe, the more the 3D printers are producers the more the cost of them is reducing.
This has made many companies across the world to get an access to it and know how the 3D
works. Many of them have been able to buy it which has made it significant for the buyers to like
it.
a. Globalization
3D printing improve online buyers’ lives in the future.For instance,3D printer can print
out everything for you no matter it is a mascot costume of Southern New Hampshire University,
or it is a Chinese figure of Buddha. Moreover, the ability of the 3D to print out everything for the
buyers will make it effective whenever you need a product from the 3D printer.
Furthermore, 3-D projection technology has already been used to resurrect dead music legends
and pipe rallies. In the recent, 3D is been used in recreating a cultural icon which had been in the
Afghanistan valley for over 1,500 years (583-593).

Also, 3D printing has laid a significant impact in the bronchoscopy simulation training.
This is because it provides a low cost alternative in bronchoscopy simulation training as
compared to other standard models in training pulmonary physicians to perform bronchoscopy.
According to some research carried out by researchers, they found that 3D was a very useful tool
compared to the other tools. Even though most of the simulation centers use models which are
more expensive than 3D printed models, they however fail to capture the subtle anatomical
details of the airways (583-593).
Conclusion
Upon conclusion, 3D printing will actually improve the future of not only the online
buyers but also everybody who make use of it. More important, 3D printing will definitely
improve the future of online shopping by making it more convenient, more personalized, and
making it global. Thus, it is very important to get use of the 3D printing services as a result of its
advantages which it will enhance in our lives in our future. Due to the fact that 3D printing is
recently becoming famous, so does the benefits. For instance, online sellers have been able to
note that 3D will be able to improve their future shopping. However, for the purpose of knowing
how the 3D printing performs the work, it is very important for the online buyers to be able to

APA Style and Formatting Sample Paper
Before getting started you will notice some things about this paper. First, everything is
double-spaced. Second, margins are 1-inch wide on all sides. Third, there are several headings
used throughout to separate different parts of the paper; some of the headings are in bold. Fourth,
there is exactly one space after each punctuation mark (except for periods at the end of a
sentence, after which there are two spaces). Fifth, the upper left of each page has a running head
in all capital letters, and the upper right has the page number. Try to pay attention to all of these
details as you look through this paper. As a reminder, your entire paper should be in Times New
Roman font, size 12.
Now that those details are out of the way, you should know that this first part of the paper
is called the “Introduction” section, yet it does not have a heading that actually says
“Introduction.” Instead, the title of the paper is typed at the top of the first page (be sure to center
the title, but do not put it in bold).
Main Point 1
Your largest headings, used for main points, will be bolded and centered. There is no
need for numbering or lettering. Each word should be capitalized. There should not be extra
space around the headings. Also, a heading should never be the last thing on a page; if necessary,
hit enter to move it to the top of the next page.
Sub Point 1
The next heading is for sub points. This will really help you readers to understand your
organizational strategy. Again, each word will be capitalized, and the heading is bolded.

Articles and books are cited the same way in the text, yet they appear different on the
References page. For example, an article by Cronbach and Meehl (1955) and a book by Bandura
(1986) are written with the authors’ names and the year of the publication in parentheses.
However, if you look on the References page they look a little different.
Main Point 2
Two other things about citations are important. When a citation is written inside
parentheses (e.g., Cronbach & Meehl, 1959), an ampersand is used between authors’ names
instead of the word “and.” Second, when citing an author’s work using quotations, be sure to
include a page number. For example, Rogers (1961) once wrote that two important elements of a
helping relationship are “genuineness and transparency” (p. 37). Notice that the page number is
included here. Unless a direct quote is taken from a source, the page number is not included.
Similar to the introduction, there is no heading for the conclusion either. Simply leave a
little bit of space between the end of your paper and your conclusion. Your conclusion should be
at least one full paragraph. Make sure to check our Blackboard page for different PowerPoint and
writing activities for the conclusion. It should be a restatement of your thesis, a recap of your
paper, and a look towards the future of your topic.
