Prevention. This journal covers the subject of pregnancy complications, what does it
mean, what should women do before get pregnant and what should they do during
pregnancy. The article explains that the complications of pregnancy are health
problems that occur during pregnancy. Some women have health problems that arise
during pregnancy, and other women have health problems before they become
pregnant that could lead to complications. So pregnancy have to talk to the doctor
about health problems that they have it now or in the past to avoid the complications.
This article has been very helpful to my research and provides an organized
information about the complications that occur during pregnancy.

abbreviated to NSAIDs. These drugs used as analgesic and antipyretic (lowering an

This article indicated that using these drugs during pregnancy may have the potential
to cause adverse maternal and fetal effects. So, I think this article has been very

The main focus of this article is based on the effect of using drugs during pregnancy.
The authors of this article explain that the effects of any substance on the developing
embryo and fetus are dependent upon dosing, timing, duration of drug exposure, and
the extent of drug distribution. The authors claim that the alarming datum that
developmental abnormalities, impairment in learning and memory, and attention
deficit can occur even in the absence of direct fetal exposure, when drugs are
consumed prior to conception. Also, there is a growing body of evidence
demonstrating a link between redox state unbalance, epigenetic markers,
developmental anomalies, and neurodegeneration. The reviewed literature data uphold
redox homeostasis disruption as an important factor in the pathogenesis of drug of
abuse- induced neurodegeneration. Basically, this article has been very helpful to my
research and highlight the potential for new therapies that could prevent
neurodegeneration through antioxidant and epigenetic modulatory mechanisms.

defect. According to CDC, pregnancy should take 400 micrograms (mcg) of folic acid
every day to prevent major birth defects of the developing brain and spine. Also,
pregnancy have to avoid alcohol, smoking cigarettes, marijuana and other “street
drugs” at any time during pregnancy. Finally, pregnancy have to talk to a healthcare
provider about taking any medications and vaccinations. This article has been very

development, both mentally and physically. Also, this article indicated that drinking
alcohol associated with birth defects in baby’s heart, brain, and other organs. In
addition, baby may have vision, hearing, learning and behavior problems. Basically,
this article has been very helpful to my research and prove that drinking alcohol
during pregnancy associated with birth defect.
