I will show that the real monster is Frankenstein himself, who mistreats the monster simply on account of his ugliness and his bloated ego. The monster himself is not entirely guiltless – his lack of compassion and the murders he commits cannot be justified since these people were innocent victims who had not done him any harm. Then I will briefly discuss the relationship that should exist between creator and created.
