management to sell part of their assets to settle down their debts. The solution was arrived
at as the only last resort for them to undertake to pay some borrowed money from various
financial institutions and also their employees within the organization (Liu, 2017).
Regulatory risk

the health of the company’s loans and also put some financial measures to various private
companies in China that seemed to undertake international deal thus limiting the business
operations and crucial decisions of the company.
Acceleration of the company’s strategy
Due to poor performing in parks, hotels, and entertainment at large, they decided to employ
asset light strategy by selling part of the parks and resorts for real estate. Also, due to
competition from other companies and preparing for another spinoff they decided to sell
their assists (Li, 2016).
Conclusion
In conclusion, due to strategy implications, they sold their assets to implement them. Also,
the company was seriously in need of money to settle their enormous debts including
salaries of their workers and borrowed money. The company did this not because they were
poorly performing but to fit their plan of asset-light strategy although this was not part of
their mission statement the surrounding circumstances demanded such decision.
