This week you start on your first writing assignment. Please be aware that I require an introduction
and an accompanying thesis that ties all the questions in the assignment together. The best way to
approach this is to use a thesis with this in mind, “how is the art is relevant today and what it means
to me when I compare and contrast it to my own life experiences”. You may create a different thesis
if you wish but this is what the class is about for most of the assignments in this course.
Also, be aware that I utilize a 40/60 in-text citation approach. 40% of the paper uses sources and
60% of your paper uses your own words thoughts and ideas based on your thesis. I already know
the answers to the questions, what I don’t know is how you feel and think about the artwork as it
relates to your life.
