In the world we live in today guns are a major problem in
America.There should be restrictions on who can get guns and
how much ammo you can buy but taking away guns or the right
to use them will never happen because there are too many people
that would lose it if that were the case. Goverment has very little
success trying to regulate gun control because people are very
protective of the second amendment the right to bear arms
because they feel they need to protect themselves in there
family’s in this crazy world we live in. from the perspective of a
government official there have been many deadly shootings in
past years including schools, concerts and others the chances of a
shooter are very scary and real considering there was a shooting
just acouple weeks ago these officials are trying to put any type
of regulation or restriction on the people who can purchase guns
the amount of guns you can buy and also the amount of
ammunition the goverment officials know that people are very
passionate about there right to bear arms and know this is going
to be a process to get anything done legally because the United
States was first born from rebellious people who stood up against
the wrong doings of the British and formed a militia against the
British and ended up defeating them so when your talking about
taking away guns these people think there liberty is being taken
away and there ability to defend themselves from others or even
a government over throw in the worst case scenario.In recent
years gun control has been brought up over and over again but
not much has been done.Over the years there has been a increase
in shootings at schools , concerts and other majorly populated
areas. Everytime there is one of these tragedies the question is
raised was this caused by just a sick person or was it that he had
to easy of access to guns and ammunition in my opinion it has
nothing to with guns or ammunition but solely the fact that these
people are messed up with no morals and shoot into crowds full
of mothers and fathers sons and daughters.Everyone has access
to guns if they really wanted to get one illegally or legally the
person of destruction if serous is going to get there hands on a
weapon of mass destruction that’s why I believe that the person
behind it has everything to do with it and the gun is just a fool
people pull the triggers and fire it’s not like the gun operates
itself. Government has been very split over the topic with mostly
republicans fighting for gun rights and there right to bear arms
the 2nd amendment as on the other side democrats have been
trying for years on years to try and put more restrictions on guns
and ammunition this has been hard for them to do because there
are so many people who own guns and often go hunting or even
carry it with them for protection in my opinion there is nothing
wrong with this as long as these people are stable in there
everyday life.if I were in charge I would put lots of requirements
to buy a gun classes and test to see if these people have any
major disability s
