You’d have to walk blocks to find a trash can around and even then, they’re normally completely full and even spilling trash out onto the streets.Adding trash bins will give people no reason to dump their trash on the streets if there’s a trash bin less than a block away. It can also give more people from our community jobs as trash collectors. Many of us see something on the ground and do not think about how it can harm them or their families. Many of this trash that is left on the ground can cause harm to not only the people in your family but your animals. Some of this waste is toxic or moldy and that can harm any living thing. I have walked to the park with my kids and seen overflowing trash can with trash falling all over the floor and used syringes laying on the kids play area. That is not a city that I would like to raise my children in. Of course we cannot do this alone, we will require the assistance of our city leaders, but it starts with us as citizens. We have to take pride and reform the city that we would like to live in! We have to come together and make the community that we want to live in. There are Many ways that we can work together to solve this problem, but the easiest way this problem can go away is just picking up behind yourself and your family. To take it one step further we can pick up trash that we see on the ground. These things are not hard to change and do not take unnecessary time out of a single person’s daily life, but it can improve your quality of life. We also will require that the city increases its trash cans on the street so there are more places to throw trash away, and increase the amount of times the trash cans get emptied.
