Solved by verified expert:Hello, How are you? It’s me again. I haven’t received any feed back on any of the assignments already submitted. I guess she will grade them soon. Attached are instructions for Assignment 3; continuation from the first 2. I have several more to go and again, I would like to continue have you tutor me. I have attached the first 2 assignments for you to refer back to. In class Thursday, we were discussing independent and dependent sentences. She would like for us to focus on using the correct punctuations, making sure we are not using run-on sentences, and etc…She also mentioned that we are to make sure we are using in-text citing when necessary. Again, thank you so much. We are almost done, lol. Please let me know if you need me to pull resources through our campus library, for she also mentioned that we are to make we are use reliable sources. Again, this assessment were made from what she’s been receiving from my classmates; she hasn’t graded mine ye.

Research Topics and Explanations
The first topic I choose for this assignment is the issue of paying college athletes. The
reason for choosing this topic is to highlight the nature of collegiate sports and how athletes are
treated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The NCAA prevents college
athletes from making a living from their talents while the body makes a fortune from them. The
audience of this discussion is the NCAA, college athletes, and college administrators who should
strive to make a change in the college sports. Any person who enjoys college sports and
appreciates the talent shown by the different athletes should also engage in this discussion. The
preliminary thesis statement states that; college athletes are not different from professional
athletes and since the NCAA makes a lot of money from organizing the college sports, the
athletes should be paid as a means of appreciating their talent.
Still, in sports, my second topic focuses on instant replay and its effects in sports. The
main question is whether instant replay used in NFL should be applied in other sports.
Professional sports has become one of the largest industries in the U.S. with evolving rules and
complex play settings being advanced every other day, referees get a hard time making the right
calls in some conflicting situations. It is important to discuss the efficiency of instant replay as a
means of making the decisions of referees much easier. The audience of this paper is sports
analysts, administrative bodies, and players as well. Any concerned fan of different sports is also
an audience since the discussion will highlight the conflict that arises over conflicting calls and
how efficient the technique might be in solving them. Instant replay has worked in NFL by
making unclear sections of play easy to review and make the right calls during a game and thus
should be allowed in other sports as it will make the work of referees easier.

Cheating and plagiarizing in college have been serious issues that bring different
disciplinary actions to students. Therefore, the topic of whether students should be expelled for
cheating and plagiarizing is my third. The importance of this topic is that it touches every student
in college as well as the faculty and holding serious discussions could help improve the quality
of education as well as make students better people in the future. The audience of this topic is
students and college administrators. The students will learn what cheating does to them while
administrators will understand how to best punish students. Students caught cheating and
plagiarizing in college should be punished but retained in school since expelling them does not
improve their education but disrupts their educational process.

Colleges and Universities Should Expel Exam Cheats
Examination malpractice is known to impair the ability of students to obtain degrees and
qualifications that reflect their level of performance on the course of study. Aside from robbing
the culprits of the opportunity to develop their intellect, the practice is unfair to those that abstain
from it because of the need to compete in this market. While experts might argue that the
emphasis on the assessment and good grades are reasonable for the problem, it is one that must
be addressed to restore the reputation of the education system of society. College and university
students are found guilty of cheating during their examination should be expelled from the
institution because of the harmful effect of the practice on the integrity of academic
qualifications and productivity in the workplace. The official position of the target audience for
this essay is that the disciplinary actions taken by the institutions to curb the increasing number
of cases of exam malpractices.
An additional characteristic of the target audience for the proposed paper on the action
against cheating during examinations is the decision-making power of the leaders of colleges and
colleges to utilize the recommendation for the development of punishments for students that
engage in the crime. Furthermore, the scope of this paper would be the justification of the
punishment given to exam cheats and would be divided into major sections including the
prevalence of the problem, factors responsible, current measures for dealing with the issues, and
recommended approaches for improving the quality of the impact of punishment. Meanwhile
some of the questions that would be addressed in the paper consist of the following:
•
What is the purpose of college and university education?
COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES SHOULD EXPEL EXAM CHEATS
•
3
How are the challenges of obtaining higher education responsible for exam
malpractice?
•
What are the methods for perpetrating the different forms of cheating duration
examination?
•
What are the innovative ways of preventing students from engaging exam
malpractice?
The purpose of these questions is to guide the presentation of the main points for the
composition of the persuasive essay and help the audience to understand the causative factors,
mode of commission of the offenses under different circumstances, and innovative and proactive
ways of eliminating the problem from our tertiary institutions.
Finally, the plan for conducting the proposed research on the topic on the need for
colleges and universities to expel exam cheats includes online research of relevant peer-reviewed
articles for the various section of the paper. Also, it entails the utilization of the CRAAP test for
the selection of the primary and secondary reference sources to enhance the integrity, validity,
and quality of the paper. The concluding aspect of the plan is the need to synthesize the
information obtained from these sources into a clear and articulate document that addressed the
issue and recommend the most effective solution for dealing with the problem that is denying the
society of the intellect needed for its development …
