Granting Sandusky emeritus status in August 1999
On May 3rd Sandusky assaulted Victim 6 in the Lasch Building showers. During the next two months a
botched (from our current outlook / I am open to a better way to phrase this) investigation was
conducted that led to an all but official exoneration of Sandusky. Around a year later Sandusky began
negotiations to retire while seeking a long-term relationship with the university. This results in the
awarding of Sandusky with the unusual (given his standing) title of emeritus.
The granting of emeritus status to Sandusky only allowed access to “University recreational facilities”.
