Recruitment of young individuals into terror groups has increased insecurity of different
countries where citizens live in fear. In chapter 4 of Radicals Chasing Utopia, the reader is given
an overview about different ways through which countries experience terrorism attacks and
different prevention measures. Many countries have experienced terror attacks from different
states. Prevent programs such as eradicating radicalization activities in most democratic
countries should be done with the aim of reducing continuous occurrence of attacks on citizens.
The primary purpose of prevention is to stop the happening of radicalization in many countries.
The process mainly involves the change one undergoes from being a law-abiding citizen to one
of the worst terrorist. The war occurring in Syria has made states change to develop new tactics
of reducing the number of individuals who are recruited in terror groups. Many states are
desperate to take actions that would help rescue the citizens suffering from continuous
occurrence of internal wars. Thinking more about prevention of terror activities in different
countries and how it should be done so that individuals can be prevented from engaging in
radical activities will stop people from getting killed and divert young individuals from being
recruited.
Prevention of terrorist activities should start with an internal audit of a country.
Therefore, hundreds of nationals including Muslims living well in Western democracies should
be advised to avoid some religious beliefs that are harmful to the current growing independent
processes. It is clear that each person in Islamic religion has the duty of ensuring that religious
mission is fulfilled. The same stand of terrorism prevention was reiterated by other Muslims who

were living in all Western States who managed to travel to Germany. Many individuals who
have gone from France, United Kingdom and Germany are great supporters of Islamic believers
(Bartlett, 2017). Islamic worshippers have caused security issues to Western democracies in the
recent history. Without applying the required liberal policies the level of terrorism will increase
worldwide thus bringing the issue of security issues to the sport of international attention. The
Islamic believers had internal creed introduced by the regime based on religious doctrine.
Therefore, totalitarian rule imposed some laws that put governing states into violent nature where
Islamic groups have disrupted the security issues in most democratic states.
It has been suggested that liberal democracies should develop ways through which they
can deal with radicalization issues that are happening in various countries. Reducing
radicalization in different countries has always backfired causing glamour and vindication to
ideas that have not always been successful. The use of digital technology has even made it
difficult to silence views that have consistently increased radical groups that tend to employ
skills when spreading the ideology of radicalization in most Islamic nations. In most liberal
societies, arguments involving changes in believes compete and flourish in most people who
have the same intention of destruction. Ideas such as emotional, irrational and violent ideas have
a certain appeal to the individuals who have an aim of trying to join Islamic groups (Bartlett,
2017). The level at which people engage with the driven ideologies to prevent violence from
occurring in such countries that have many of their citizens engaging in terrorism activities is
quite alarming.
British security services were made to break into turmoil. The problem arose because in
the past years the security forces worked in IRA, communism, and Nationalism that found itself
suffering from strong opposition coming from constant violent ideology. There was a generation

of British strategy that was intended to respond to Al-Qaeda attacks coming from external forces
aimed interrupting the normal working of various countries. The response was mainly built
around strategies that had the intention of reducing the likelihood of violence to vulnerable
nations. There was the possibility of terrorist attacks on countries that had the power and enigma
of preventing further security forces from elapsing. When security forces started to reduce
attacks on people, there was possibility of negotiation to have success from community-led
programs that stop young men from joining different criminal gangs. Therefore, these initiatives
have the intention of destroying some countries. The primary thinking behind such happenings
was because of the view that one would have in the world about terrorist activities happening in
various countries.
Human behavior is not easily predictable and several competing models occur when
radicalization occurs in different people. Radicalization in most cases starts as a small action in
which someone starts a low move by following a religious idea. The steps are taken progress
slowly and finally someone changes to a total terrorist. To some extent, the extremist view that
work of radicalization as a minor way through which one can become a graduate of violence.
Therefore, those people who undertake violent actions have opinions that are intended to prevent
continuous activities of practicing conservative religion.
Prevention activities carried out has managed to give younger people the way through
which they can escape recruitment to terrorist groups. Surprisingly, it has been realized that some
people are prevented projects but finally ended up being members of terrorist organizations.
Most groups are continuously working with the aim of avoiding security from elapsing and has
helped to keep the lives of people safe. The people working towards defending prevent of

radicalization are interested in ensuring that people who support terrorists are vocal and can give
a specific directive on matters involving the security of the state. When Donald Trump took over
as the president, there was a pledge that he would make America a prevent country that was able
to counter forces of an Islamic extremist.
Prevention programs of terrorism activities should be initiated in most countries to
prevent occurrence of insecurity to citizens and various governing bodies. The government
should ensure that they remain active in keeping people active about any security lapses that may
be noticed. Most followers of terrorist ideology have gone further to attack many Western
nations that are not ruled by Islamic heads. Countries have gone many steps behind because of
the continuous attack on innocent citizens. It has been noticed by American intelligence bodies
that most Islamic states have dominant global terrorist attacks that have made countries become
ungovernable.
