Project Overview
The project is a contiguous review of your knowledge, skills and assessment (KSA) of what you have
learned throughout the course. This project drives you to choose a topic in healthcare and allow you to
use your knowledge to showcase how you might handle delicate issues in your sphere of influence to
continue to provide quality, increased performance and marginal financial growth in any given quarter or
year. Healthcare is in an ever-changing climate, as it is heavily regulated, and highly accountable to the
community, patients, its stakeholders and the government. Therefore, this project will demonstrate how
you analyze data to make strategic decisions.
Due Date
Your final project is due in Module 6. There will be individual assignments along the way that will be
attached to final project. The module for each assignment has been outlined in the below table.

Executive Summary
Requirements
Students’ shall provide an “Executive Summary” that addresses the following:
State clearly the objective, or purpose, of the report. In the healthcare report model, this paragraph might
explain how the report demonstrates that a change in the organization or department would be beneficial
to the organization. The goal of the report is to support a change in the department practice.
Students’ should explain why the change is needed and the benefits of the change.
Finally, students will conclude the report with a specific recommendation based on the information in the
summary.

gesture to have someone else proof read your papers.
Each assignment leading up to the final assignment is evaluated and graded independently. Your
