I remembered that day
In our life, the things that we experienced are not only like clouds .
All of them should be beautiful and meaningful to make us grow. Do not always
dissatisfied with our own life. Do not always think there are no most satisfied only
more satisfied, maybe life just lack of that, you will find that the world is not lack of
satisfaction.Life is still as usual, getting up early in the morning, sleeping late at night,
and trying to find something in your life.
It’s always so comforting to remember Christmas. There is no winter in the impression
of December, there is only the warmth of spring.
Two years ago, I was 18 years old. I started to make a decision for my future. That
time I considered myself as a man. In the cause of the future ,however, I am at sea like
most teenagers. When the sunshine lighted to my room, I got up as usual. But the
worried atmosphere had existed for one week. I was anxious because today was the
day that TOEFL grade upload. I just ate a little, I really did not have the appetite. As I
walked to school ,I realized that it appeared and closer and closer. I was afraid to face
it. I clearly understood I could do nothing to change it. That time the every minute is
like one day to me. After a long struggle time, the class over and over. There was
nothing in my world , even I could not hear about any voice. My teacher pointed out
me several times she wanted to make me pay attention. Under this pressure I studied
until the last class. I still remembered it was a bored physics class, everyone in the
sigh. Maybe each class is like this. When the teacher came in she let a physics class
representative distribute the paper out . Full of tension I open the website. I clap my
eyes on the screen. My fingers were not control under my brain. The time became
slow and my action became sluggish. When I was typing my username I found every
letter on my keyboard were rigid. Finally I complete the progress after I beat my heart.
I could not believe my eyes. The grade was lower than my last test. I blamed the there
was a bug of the system. Although I know the system was right and that was my grade.
I checked many times. There was a voice telling me it will be changed. I could not
conceal my sadness when I get this result. Although it is a test, once or twice errors
were allowed. The low points more than the average of class was obvious. I
encouraged myself again and again, but the result bit me again and again. The vast
fall almost beats me . The weather outside was clear, but it seemed to get dark at this
moment. Let people depressive. As the weather got darker and darker, it snowed
heavily outside. My classmates were talking about how to go home after class.
Mutually borrow the umbrella, I was so happy that my own umbrella has already been
in the school. I did not want to go home to face the problem.
The school lost the dignity of the past, and replaced by the rich atmosphere of
Christmas, the serenity, and the elegant fragrance… In the season of the plum blossom,
students leaved the fierce competition. Except me. Perhaps the snow is too heavy, the
wind is too strong, I felt the body is so cold. I was waiting for the bus to home, I did
not care the person near to me at all. When I recovered, I had been found that a girl’s
clothes were going to get wet. I quickly walked beside her and used umbrella cover
for her. She just expressed gratitude to me with her eyes.
We kept silence for a long time, but the bus was not coming. Then I looked at her, I
found the corner of her eyes were filled with tears. I asked her what had happened,
she said that her parents were clamoring for a divorce, she did not know what to do.
Perhaps it was the thing in her heart that she never prepared.
Behind my school there is small park. I took her to one of my favorite places. I
consoled her, and told her my family’s story. From her tone she could tell that her
parents loved her very much. I told her that even if they divorced, they will also love
her like before. In imperceptible , the snow had stopped. She seemed to understand.
I did not go back that noon, although I was a little sad of a bad choice on the score,
my heart was full of great satisfaction.
As night fell, the city was enveloped in snow and became splendour. The moonlight
was dimmed. Enjoying this rare Christmas day in the capital city, my mind seems to
be back past. In elementary school, the Christmas day, everyone pulls together to fill
the classroom with flowers, and the friends who come to school always brought with
a laugh. This laugh was not an April fool’s joke, it was not the smile of the children’s
day, it was not the victory but the pride of us. Then looked at the mountains of
greeting cards on the desk, the “merry Christmas”, a kind of home warm flow into the
heart of the heart.
It is so easy to find something satisfying in life. It may be the most meaningful day of
my life. That makes me understand we can not require anything happen like we
desired. When I face something upset we have to be confident. Because we have more
things to do, not only the thing in front my eyes.
