make the business to be recognized all over the world. This will give it an advantage over its
competitors who do just limited advertisement. In addition, Belly will be offering its drinks

competitors. This strategy will be the market entry strategy that will be employed.
Strategic position & Risk Assessment

it compete with other established businesses. Besides that, Belly will have a special task force
that will be inventing new non-alcoholic drinks that are nutritious through blending various types
of fruits. There will be no chemical additives that will be added to those drinks during
preparation because such chemicals may compromise the health of the consumers.
Risk assessment
The Belly’s management will take this very critical area seriously. This is because
management of risks will determine if the business will collapse or not. The Company will be
outsourcing this exercise to a special team of personnel experienced in risk assessment. This

Consumer’s Buying Plan
The sale tactic that will be employed is direct selling to the customers. Monthly
advertisements and promotions will be carried out in order to attract more customers that will in
turn increase the sales. The distributors will be operating within Virginia State only while
offering transportation promotions in order to minimize huge transportation costs.
ETHICS & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY PLAN
Commitment to good corporate citizen
Job creation is one of the core principles of Belly. Despite targeting to provide nutritious
drinks to the street residents and its customers, the business also aims at creating many jobs to
the residents of Virginia and other states in order to curb the unemployment rate that is
tremendously increasing globally. By expanding its capacity, production and regions of
operation, more personnel will be required to provide labor. Therefore, this business will create
many job opportunities.
The Belly Company will also abide by the laws and regulations of each jurisdiction or
authority. For instance, the business will obtain operation license from the relevant authority. It
will also comply with tax duties imposed by the regional State and the government. In addition,
it will be insured to guarantee for compensation in case of any calamity.
The treatment of employees is also another area which the Company will put more of its
attention. All the workers should be treated equally and fairly irrespective of their status, age,
ethnic group or religion. This is very important because employees are the determinants of the

success of every organization. They will be guaranteed their rights and freedom and their
grievances will be listened to and addressed accordingly. There will be no single employee who
will be discriminated based on race, color, tribe etc. and any instance of discrimination will be
dealt with in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Company.
Effects on environment & mitigation measures
The production processes of Belly organization like any other production Company will
have several negative impacts on the environment. This is so because these production activities
will cause environmental pollution i.e. water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution, soil
pollution etc.
The pollution of air will be caused by the emission of poisonous fumes by the machines
involved in the production process. This kind of pollution can cause cases of acid rain, global
warming and breathing complications if not mitigated. This problem can be mitigated by
ensuring that the poisonous chemicals have been removed. The exhaust pipes should be fitted
with chemical absorbers to remove the chemicals.
On the other hand, water pollution can be caused by direct discharging of effluent from
the plant into the water bodies like nearby rivers. This can cause water-borne diseases to the
residents who rely on those rivers as a source of water for domestic use. In addition, discharging
the untreated effluent into water bodies will also interfere with the aquatic life. This problem can
be addressed by ensuring that the effluent from the production plant has been thoroughly treated
to remove any kind of bacteria and chemicals before discharging into a water body. In addition,
the wastewater from the plant can be treated and reused in other activities like cooling the
machines.
Business Plan
15
Finally, noise pollution can occur as a result of the type of machinery used. It is quite
obvious that during the processing of the fruits to form the required drinks, there will be a lot of
noise from the plant. This issue can affect the nearby society if not addressed. The problem of
noise pollution can be mitigated by installing sound absorbers in the plant to prevent huge noise
from getting out.
The product’s health issues
The drinks that will be manufactured by Belly will have a positive health impact on the
consumers. The health status of the consumers will improve because of consumption of Belly’s
